I happened to overhear some rumors… and that’s when the clock hands began to move.
It was a deserted mansion located on the zenith of a mountain, just three hours from the World Summit building.
We were just going to have fun. We were going to go home soon. We opened the door and came in…
No one knew how long it’d been there, or who had previously occupied it – only that it was currently empty.
I can’t keep this bottled up, or I’ll go insane… It’s too painful…
According to rumors, it was haunted, and no one who went inside ever came back out.
How many times will I be allowed to make mistakes? How many more times will I have to tell the same lies? How many more times will I have to watch my friends die?
They should’ve listened.
I was alone…
Regardless of how hard they fought, they couldn’t all make it through.
I was a hero, wasn’t I? I protected you, didn’t I? I could be a hero… couldn’t I…?
Once they entered the mansion, they couldn’t escape.
You should learn to smile a little more naturally.
So they tried again, only to realize that immortality was truly but a memory in that wretched place.
Two seconds is long enough to save the life of one nation, you know…
Every time they began a new attempt, they had no recollection of their previous trials – save for one small clue, left by their past selves.
Let’s form an alliance! A testimony of our new bond, without any relation to the Allies or Axis or even the neutral nations, but to all of us who are here!
And though the fragmented memories worsened the feeling of despair and made escape seem increasingly impossible…
To the me who lives at some point in time and who isn’t alone… Once again, I made some mistakes, and also some progress.
…They continued on, trying again and again and again until every single one of them took one step forward – together.
Ah, that’s right. I… I have many friends… This close to me, all this time…
They were set on getting out of the mansion, without a single person left behind.
I’m all un-alone.
But the question is… will they be able to?
