The General Rules

• Follow the basic Rules of the Proboards. I realize very few read them, but I'd rather not have the site deleted, so use basic common sense.

• Please read the Plot, and Helpful Information would also be wise to read. But the Plot is mandatory.

• Please do not make cussing a second language I understand some characters, such as Prussia and Romano, have foul mouths but still, don't go overboard.

• If you have something you need answered, or need to tell a Staff member something you do not want others knowing, you can always PM one. Currently I am the only Staff member, so feel free to PM me.

• Please, do not spam the box with Ads, other sites advertisements, games, etc. If you want to post something not related to the Roleplay then please ask a Staff member to create a board for such a thing.

• I'm limiting cussing and sexual conduct in the Chatbox, I can ignore it, but others my be uncomfortable and such. No sexual roleplaying on ProBoards, take it somewhere else. I already got a Warning message because I guess when I said "Do so through PM's" a ProBoard staff member thought I meant through ProBoards PM's, which I did not (XP). Also, anything that happens in the Chatbox RP's does not affect the Forum RP. Think of the Chatbox as something completely different Roleplay. So, that being said I mean nothing in the Chatbox affects the Forum roleplay.

• Regarding roleplay in the Chatbox, please only make an account for the character you are on the Forum. otherwise it is confusing if we have a Germany on the Forum, but someone else has him on the Chatbox. I hope that made sense. . .

• Another thing concerning the Chatbox. Things which are in Brackets ( [ { | | } ] ) are considered OOC, like if you need to say something that is not In Character, chat, things like that.

• Please do not post pictures that have nudity, or highly sexual content in the Forum. That will get the site removed, and I'd hate that!

• If I asked you to be a Mod, you fully have the right to say you do not want to be one, I will hold no hard feelings towards you at all.

• If you do something and a Staff member warns you to tone it down / stop doing that / tells you something is not allowed, and you do it again and again, you will be banned a certain amount of time, or fully. Depending on the 'Crime'.

Roleplaying Rules

• This should be obvious, but god-modding is forbidden. The Staff fully has the right to ask you to edit a post. And by god-modding, I mean Auto-Hitting. And by Auto-Hitting, I mean stating in a post you hit So-and-So without giving them a chance to dodge.
Also, you are not allowed to dodge every single blow, not America or Russia either.

• No killing other peoples characters. Unless you have their permission, just don't do it.

• Please use readable Grammar when posting IC on a thread. Text Talk is not allowed. Staff has the right to ask you to edit it if it is found. Spelling mistakes are fine, but numbers do not belong in words.

• Please try your best to stay In Character (IC). Germany is not a cry baby who goes around groping Ukraine's chest, and Italy isn't manly and brave. Lithuania isn't abusive and mean, and Latvia isn't outrageously wild. If you cannot get into a character, please think twice about reserving said character. If I feel you are making a character Out of Character, I will ask you to make adjustments.

• Your Character can be in more threads than one, it does not have to make sense, you do not have to leave on thread in order to enter a new one. Now, if you wish to do things like that be my guest, but you do not have to.

• Because I do not want inactive characters, you must post in a thread once a Month, if not you will be warned, if you ignore the warning your character will be opened up. If this is a problem, PM the staff and I'll gladly work something out with you. Or, post in the Hiatus thread.

• Okay, there is a certain way posts must be done, above what you post please point out who you are directing the post to. I saw this somewhere and it was really interesting.
Posts should be as follow:

[[Open]]- Meaning any character can reply to your post with their characters, basically interact with them.

[[America/Norway/Belarus]]- When you put certain names (doesn't matter how many), that means you only want replies from them. In that case, no one else is allowed to try to interact with your character.

[[Open/Poland/Liechtenstein/Sweden]]- You are talking to said characters, but still Open to interact with others.

Now, if you post something and you put [[America]] above your post, but you do not make your character make it known you are talking/walking over to/staring at America, you'll have to change it to [[Open]].

I know that might be a bit confusing, but if you need help I will gladly explain it farther.
I think this will be easier for everyone, so you don't get stressed and confused with how many people are talking to you, and that if you are in a deep conversation with some people it isn't bothered by others.
You can always add [[Open/Characters Here]] after a posts having just addressed a certain character(s), so don't worry.

• This is a PG-13 forum. Proboards seems to look over these forums, so please keep it at a PG-13 level. . . I'm sure violence is okay, though. Just nothing sexual, they will remove this forum!

• This is involving pairings, please do not pester two people paired up to do some Fluff or Angst, or whatever. Let them do it on there own time. Now, if they are both okay with the pestering. . . Feel free to pester away~.

• Another thing with Pairings, do not assume a pairing without discussing it with the other person who would be in a pairing. Not everyone is a UsUk fan, some ship FrUk. Some ship MonaEng. Heck, some ship PolFran. Just talk it out so you are sure you're both in agreement.

• When posting, there is a two hundred (200) word minimum. Please, one-liners are hard to reply to. No one will bug you to "Hurry up and post!", if I or any of the Staff see that, we will correct it. But please put effort into your posts.

• Since this is a Gakuen Hetalia / Hetalia Life rolepay every character can only be in four (4) threads at once, otherwise it can get jumbled up and possibly confusing, but if I or Sey thinks that the rule is not needed, we'll remove and let you all know!

Signing Up

PROFILES MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF CHARACTER RESERVATION!

• When you make your Character Application, please use the Template I made. You may add more details than is required if you wish, but make sure you fill out everything in the Template

• If you reserve a character, you are given a weeks time to make and complete the Application for said Character. If the due date passes and you have started your Application, but haven't finished it, it will be moved to Frozen Applications. You'll be given an extra three days to finish it, after those three days are up the Character goes back on the Available List. If you know you need longer than a week to finish an application, tell a Staff Member to hold your unfinished Application / The character.

• Please put effort into your Profile Applications. Do not fill it out half-assed. Say you want to be Germany, do not put down for the Personality "He's mean and strict", go into detail. Show me you have a grasp on the personality and can actually play him right. Because Germany is way more than just "Mean" and "Strict".

• Genderbending Countries is not allowed.

• If you want to drop using one character and switch to someone else, PM a staff member. But depending on how long you have been your first character, and how many posts in Threads you have made determines your answer.

• No more than two canon characters per-person.

• To be able to be more than one character, you must have a certain ammount of posts.

• If you decide to be more than one character, please change your Account name ot something such as America/Taiwan. But no having to characters and having them paired up together.

• The 'Cookies' refer to how well you roleplay, if your replies are long and detailed the more Cookies you are Given. If your replies really suck, you could get them taken away. Think of them as awards, and no over-using the 'Give' and 'Take'.

• Concerning your Character Application, there is a Secret Word. On the spot, please leave it blank or put something random in.
